Upcoming Art Classes at Carole Forbes' Studio

Our dear friend Carole is running some classes in Fredericton for the first time in a while, and we're excited to be taking part! It will be a great opportunity to learn some of the basics of lighting and perspective in a low pressure environment, while experimenting with colourful mediums including the versatile and elusive Inktense which we haven't stocked in ages! Drawing and Painting Workshop: no experience necessary

When: September 25th, 9:30am-4:00pm

Where: Marysville Crossing, Rm. 19 at the Ville, 241 Canada Street, Fredericton

Cost: $60 all supplies included except for a 0.2 Micron pen (which we can get for you)

New Students will learn ink or pencil techniques while working from one of my drawings. Each person works at their own pace on their own picture in a relaxed atmosphere. Previous students can bring their own photo (no portraits please).

Focus: The importance of perspective, tone, and value to bring your drawing to life.

Included will be a demo on the use of Inktense, watercolour crayons and pencils. A $20 deposit is required to hold your spot. Please contact Carole Forbes at [email protected].
